    Deadliest Warrior (XBLA/PSN)

Makes sense I guess, but what an odd show to base a fighting game on.

It's basically a mix of pirate, ninja, knight, samurai, ect.

Oh, and 10-15 second fights on average apparently. They wanted "realism". To be fair, Bushido Blade 1 and 2 had fights that could end instantly with the right timing, and I liked those games.

    I'm not excited. Just...curious.

How could that show never do pirate vs. ninja? Seriously?

Easy, the get thousands of complaints about their other stuff. I would expect an explosion if they actually did that.

Especially since the pirate had the blunderbuss and people would Bawww all about it.

Because Ninja was already eliminated before they got to the pirate. Besides, I would have to kill someone if they did that.

Ya know, I never understood the fascination with having pirates AND ninjas go at it.

          How did that originate?

Yeah, I think Real Ultimate Power was the origin of the pirate/ninja feud. Although it raises the question of where that guy thought it up.

On a semi-related note, the Bushido Blade games rule.

I'd rather see them do Caveman vs Astronaut.

The ninja should be armed w/ an electric guitar.

Got around to playing the demo for a bit.

Matches end way too quick to be able to enjoy it. Damage needs to be toned down.

Extremely generic characters. No personality at all.

Controls are very responsive, so that's a good thing.

Seems ok, but not worth the money to me.
