    It's that time of year.

Fireworks. Post some. Talk about them.

There are/were fireworks going off like a few streets near my house. Seriously, I had front row seat to that ****.

How about the weather? Anybody else in the midwest feeling this stuff? Its like 85 degrees and I feel like i need a shower its so humid. AND its 9:30 pm.

After work tomorrow I'm going to go see the fireworks with my girlfriend. If we do it right we can see the fireworks for my city and the one next door (live in the twin ports Duluth/Superior).

I don't even know why my town's doing them TONIGHT to be honest, but nevertheless I'm enjoying this display of pretty fiery lights.

And it's pretty hot here too, in the eastern area. But as I post this, I just experienced the finale of tonight's show. RAPID FIRE ENABLED! is all I need to say.

This was my neighborhood on New Year's. Take this, extrapolate 20 other rich rednecks doing the same thing. That's what I'll be seeing tomorrow. Forget going to a city's fireworks show. This ****'s free and I only have to walk out the front door.

This will hopefully be the first 4th of July that it hasn't rained in a long time.

Looks like this guy won't be having as much fun as me tonight.

It's raining out. Whenever it rains I have to turn on a wet vacuum and set it to the corner of the basement because there's a leak somewhere in the wall and it drains onto the floor. And in the same room as my computer.

They say it might clear up for fireworks. Maybe.
                    ...and that's why.

I went and saw some yesterday. Posted some pics in the photo topic, don't feel like moving them.

It was my first fireworks show choreographed to music. They had both kinds. Country AND Western.

Took some friends with me to a decent fireworks show at a nearby regional park. The fireworks were done over a lake in a slightly cratered area, so the echoes ended up louder than the fireworks themselves, which was an awesome and honestly humbling effect.

That picture in the first post looks awesome if you keep scrolling up and down as you look at it.

The whole neighborhood set off so much crap last night I was smelling the gunpowder for hours afterwards.
