anyone heard anything about the new SSB? I just heard that it'll be released with the revolution (like melee and the gc) and will be online.

Yeah, I heard this. I hope there is an insane amount of playable characters.
I only wish Square would allow putting some of its trademark characters in the game. I don't see why not though, characters from Earthbound and Fire Emblem are already in there. I just think it would be rad to play as Crono, Frog or maybe Magus.

Earthbound and Fire Emblem aren't from Square, if that's what you mean. And Square's already got a pimp daddy, and its name is Disney.

I know, I was just saying that those two series are 3rd party games not developed by Nintendo. I might be incorrect on that, i can't remember.

Earthbound and Fire Emblem were not developed by Nintendo, but they were published by them. FF was published by Square, as far as I know.

Actually, they aren't 3rd party titles. However, Fire Emblem was developed by Intelligent Systems and EB was developed by Ape Studios.

If only I can recall what the latter studio's called now...

Myself, I play it because it's hella fun, especially when playing with friends. It's pretty much the only "fighting" game I really enjoy/am actually good at. Then again, I don't really think of it as a fighting game... 'Cause it dosen't really feel like one.

Whatever the hell it is, though, I love it.
