Lord of Arcana (aka SquareEnix rips off Monster Hunter too!)

Did we even get God Eater from NamcoBandai? I can't remember.

This one is definitely a lot faster than MH, and even includes what looks like a lock on option.

Yeah, I mean, I can beat the tar out of stupid dragons in other games, too, so what's the draw here? Even animu God Eater looks a litte more exciting, and it also has a ridiculous name.

The dragon looks both generic and boring. Not sure how they are going to compete with Monster Hunter with such a boring presentation like that.

Seriously. Holy ****, Squenix, you're KNOWN for your graphics. That's like the bare minimum you have to accomplish. And we get this... blacky brown blob dragon thing. And that HUD is an eeeeyesore. I hope this a super-early build. I can't imagine why they'd show their game off like that though.

Auto-targeting ****in' kills any challenge as well. It's gonna be a ***** to scroll through the monster's various points. I just... don't see this being a thing.

            Especially with MHP3rd and PSP2 a-comin'.

Aren't we now at the point where instead of being a stamp of quality, the Square-Enix name on the label is a warning, a notification that the product contained herein may contain vast quantities of sucktitude?

Well, it could be a port of one of their games from the era of awesomeness. Those, at least, they have yet to screw up completely. Hence why they've done so many of them.

that definitely reeks as a rip off from monster hunter. even down the knock out status the dragon had in the video.
