So, now Twilight is ruining marriages...And not just with ladies...

    http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/movi...tionships.html

Lemme guess, they're gonna name it Edward Syndrome, or Bella Syndrome, or Jacob Syndrome. (Oh, maybe it depends on which "team" you're on.)

Maybe I'm just being a cynic but that article seems horribly out-of-touch with every bit of context the world could offer.

I had this argument with my sister earlier this morning; as an avid Twitard but also a very intelligent collegiate scholar and professor, she is of the opinion that the draw is in its popularity as much as its awkward and completely unrealistic romantic expectations. I more or less agree with this sentiment, as the other explanation is that women just want to read about vampire-oriented teen angst, which I'm just not equipped to understand, nor would I desire this capacity.

I'm completely staying away from the theater...both this week and next week, because of this movie.

****... that's right. I still gotta see Toy Story. And Predators and Inception's out soon, too.

If Magus is right, I have to watch The Last Airbender as well as Predators soon. The theater will reek of preteen girls and poor writing.

                        aka, read Twilight, get wet.
                        ...and that's why.

If I was in a relationship True Blood would probably get in the way of it. Mostly because I'd annoy my significant other to death by only referring to them as Sukeh and/or Eggs.

I'm glad I don't have to put up with this Twilight nonsense.

If I were involved with a woman with bad enough taste to like the books, though I might take advantage of it. I'm somewhat pale to begin with, so I'd probably just dump glitter on my body and act all emo and mope around. Cue all the hot sex I can handle and thensome!

It might be better if she were into the werewolves though. That works better with my body hair, and I can probably just skip all that emo crap. Unless the werewolves are emo too.

They are. It's like Underworld...only with sparkles and a woman that should have "Booty call" tattooed to her lower back. The story is awful.
