How can you miss the final rocket shot on the mutated Mr.X?!?!?!?
As soon as you shoot REMOTELY in the direction of him it triggers the in game FMV....

"YOU LOSE, BIG GUY!"

love that line from Claire's B game.

Oh yea, I just started playing RE 2 over again. I've beat Leon A - Claire B and just started on the opposite.

I'm going to try speed runs once I get done with those 2, that way Im familiar again with everything (it's been a good 5 years since I last played it seriously).

Oh yea, beat the 4th Survivor, woo!

Now Im going to try and beat Tofu's scenario...

That's what I thought, too! The first one was too wide and the 2nd just seemed to..pass right through him

Maybe I was too close to him, I was literally within HUGGIN' distance.

I love RE2.

I replayed it a couple months ago. Still fun, and scary.

Ada is always my favorite character.

I beat RE2 in 8 minutes.

side B in 14 minutes.

Watch out...MR X. has a brutal right...



He's easily avoidable in open areas...but god, that part where he burst through the room with the Jack, Queen, and King...first time through I thought I'd run from him. While hightailing out, he burst through the hallway wall...I nearly ****ted my pants...

Also, when he grabs the rail and pulls himself up from the 2nd floor to the 3rd when you're heading towards the gear room...scared the crap out of me when I played through that part a few days ago.

I love that character...too bad he was kinda downplayed in Survivor and could be taken out with 2 pistol magazines from a distance...but there was a part with like 5 of them in a row (the canyon part).

I tried to speedrun Code Veronica, but ended up only getting halfway through. I thought I did pretty well, but I probably could've done better...

My best speed-run of RE2 was somewhere around 2 hours and 15 minutes on Leon A and Claire A.

I've been meaning to play Leon B (my favorite scenario! wee!) for a while.

Don't you just love when Ada dumps those bullets into X's head on Leon's B scenario?

Cool scene.

But god, in his 2 scenarios his must've said "Ada wait!" or some similiar line around 50 times.

Oh yea, also on the scene where Mr. X punches the survelliance camera...I thought I could avoid him by not checking the monitor...hehe, I ended up walking right into him on my way out.

The best thing about RE2 was getting Hunk and Tofu. There needs to be a resident evil game where it's just them. Hunk for main story, and Tofu for a mini game or something.
