At least it gave you the option to shorten the summons.

Anyone remember fighting emerald weapon using knights of the round a million times? Holy **** that was time consuming.

IX rocks, but I already own the discs.

It's the one where the monkey boy and black mage travel cross country with the princess and knight and meet up with four other characters. And other stuff.

Yeah, but what I'm referring to is the time lapse between each and every choice you make and the action the characters take. It was like 4 seconds between button press to seeing Vivi cast Fire, and I wanted to murder myself so I didn't have to sit through combat that took so damned long for seemingly no reason.

Really? I don't remember it being like that... and IX is the one I've played the most.
Or maybe I just never minded.
