My PS3 is hooked up to my RCA television with an HDMI cable, the PS3 home screen has audio but when I start the actual game I lose my audio. This blows my mind. Any advice? Have I just not done something right? it's the first time I've hooked the PS3 up to this television.

Three options:
1) Ctrl + Alt + Del
2) Jiggle the handle
3) Check your HDMI cable itself. Buy another one, and if that doesn't work, then it's probably your television. My Zune had the same problem (except it wouldn't be recognized by a computer), and it turned out it was just the stock cable. It might also be the PS3's problem with audio, not the TV.What's the point of having an emergency response system if you can't provoke the wrath of God? -

It's possible (depending on how old your RCA TV is) that it's only HDMI 1.2. The PS3 is HDMI 1.3, so if this is the case, it might be a handshake issue.Comment
