    Beat Hazard (PC, 360)

Geometry Wars with your own music? Yes please!

Every Extend Extra Extreme (an "inverse" shooter of this genre) allowed you to use your own music, but it was sometimes a bit fiddly, and to make everything match up exactly, you needed to basically "prep" each song for use in the game.

This looks a LOT more intuitive, as it takes any music, and matches it to the action without a bunch of prepwork.

Don't want to pull a Jeroak here, but I might plug in my dormant 360 and download this. Might also give Deadly Premonition and Ninja Blade a go while the console is turned on. Hell, I might even download some new songs for Rock Band seeing as how I finally found my missing RB2 disc.

I've just been kinda dreading re-hooking up all my consoles after I did a slight (ie-major) revamp of my setup. I'll probably make a topic later with pics of how absolutely horrendous my wiring is, and how I'm NOT looking forward to overhauling it.

Oh, and yeah, this game looks great!

Looks interesting, you might want to check out Chime while you're at it. It's cheap, most of the proceeds go to charity, and is actually good.

I've been thinking about getting that, actually. I've heard good things. Just have not had a lot of motivation to plug in and hook up my 360, is all.
