I have no idea if there is any way to do this... is it possible to "trade in" a computer? Or viably sell one?

I want to get a laptop, but I don't want my desktop, in that case and it would be great to get something out of it.

If there's a hole-in-the-wall computer repair shop near you, they might sell used computers, too.
