Condemned was a great, first-person perspective game that walked the same lines as Silent Hill, the idea all by itself isn't particularly bad.


But this is Konami we're talking about, the guys that did such a great job with a Castlevania fighting game :B

If it were done with a similar engine to Fallout 3, it could work, but the scarcity of weapons and supplies found in the previous Silent Hill games needs to be left intact.

Yeah, how could we forget about Silent Hill: The ARCADE?

Oh right...

This series has been dead to me for a while, pretty much since the movie ruined everything by becoming a guidepost for all future SH games (WHY?).

That being said, I'm not surprised or shocked or sad. Regardless of how things go from here, the first four games in the series have provided me with a lot of inspiration.

If it's anything like Penumbra then I think it's a good thing.

But Konami ruining series isn't anything new.
