Redirecting the Links to Submissions

You probably had this on your "to do" list, but just in case it is not...

When moving the demos and games out of the submissions forum (like with the RPGM1 demos recently) it might be nice to redirect the link to the new page instead of leaving it connected to an empty forum. Or perhaps it would be easier to just place a link in the empty forum temporarily.

Just a thought. I know how busy you are these days getting ready for RPGM3, so feel free to ignore this...

I have no idea what you're talking about, really.

The game downloads, and the topics housing them are only accessible from the main site now, not the forum. if you click the game's name, you will still be taken to it as normal. links dont involve the forums, just the topic. so the link never changes no matter what forum a topic is moved to.

What I meant was that when you are on the "RPGMaker Pavilion" page here:

and you click the sbbmissions link, then click the link to RPGM1 Demos you wind up here:

http://www.pavilionboards.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=24

This is an empty forum with no link to the moved content.

This is my own fault for bypassing the homepage (a practice I gotta stop) and is no big deal. I just got confused when the area was empty, and had to look elsewhere for an explanation.

uh, yeah. there's no topics in there because they've all been moved. see, topics waiting to be added to the main database go there. when I add them, I move them. think of it as a place for games to wait in line. basically just forcing people to use the main site.
