To summarize, the plot involves a mother named Rose who refuses to let her daughter, Sharon, die of a fatal disease by taking her to a faith healer against her husband's wishes. Unfortunately along the way, she winds up going through a portal in reality (it doesn't say whether she realizes it or not, real SH fanboys like myself will understand this wouldn't be the first time that's happened) and ends up in the haunted town. What's worse, is her daughter has gone missing. In attempting to find her in the town, she discovers that it's inhabited by demons and a darkness that modifies and deforms everything it touches, and the humans that are left are losing to this darkness (A prequel perhaps?). It is up to Rose and the cop who has been sent in to rescue her, Cybil (Yes, that Cybil), to rescue Sharon.
