Nope, so unless you overrule him (your house, your rules), you wont be able to use your DS for anything internet related.Vita, 3DS, PSP, PS3, PC, WiiU, Wii & 360

you could get one of the nintendo wifi dongles. doesnt work in windows 7 though.

Yes he would object and notice...he runs the networks of several school districts and also occasionally works from home, so that's a no go.
