    Magcon is happen.



    I was waiting until they had a few game videos up before posting here, but they opened the floodgates last night, and now there's 17 videos in all.
    lots of cool stuff to check out.

      because I couldnt settle for just 6 or so people.

      I know they had an awesome time, and I'm jealous of them for doing it, but I could not be happy with that kind of turnout.

      when I was planning the convention I intended to hold a few years back, I was aiming for at least a few dozen. It didnt look like I'd be able to get that, so I called it off.

        I say a dozen of us should just show up at Valks house with sleeping bags and cases of booze.

          I'm finally home from MagCon.

          And I've been telling you time and again that you need to establish the event, man. Sure, it'd be nice to get everyone out there on the first go, but what I think you need to do is get a slow burn going.

          You have to have the event to show people what they're missing, then they'll be more likely to show up.

          With the surprise showing of two more guests, we had 10 people at MagCon, which is our biggest grouping yet (MC1 had 5, MC2 had 8). If the Pav did it, I'd expect a bigger turnout. And even if you didn't, why not just organize a trip so you can hang out with your friends?

            Yeah, take Ixzion's advice! Just wait until AFTER September for scheduling.

                  We actually didn't piggyback on any other convention this year. We all met up in Chattanooga, TN and did it all by ourselves.

                      He's like one of three Magonians that didn't come, and he was left bored out of his mind.
