I dunno how many people already know this, but the /\ button acts as a helpful shortcut. Like if you're creating an event and open up the list of scripts to use in the event, if you press /\ when that list is up it'll lead to the script editor. Back out, and you'll be back creating the event. This way it'll be a bit more like RPGM1 with the event/script editor seeming more like one editor than two completely separate editors. This works in other instances when selecting from a list of stuff to place in one of those slots (like the Map Entry slot in the World Organization editor, which is where I accidentally found this out). About the only place where the trick isn't available offhand I can tell is when you want to place event or objects on a map.

If this is already well-known, sorry, as I don't get into RPGM2 tech topics a lot.

It also will not take you to the VFX editor if trying to select an effect while scripting.

But it very handy indeed.

While this is relatively well known, it is still worthy of mentioning! With tips and tricks "too much is better than not enough" so keep 'em coming.

Yep, I use it all the time. Lowers work time significantly.

I didn't know about it so thanks for posting this topic for those who are new to RM2 and managed to miss it before.
