Whats up with the boats?? I know the blimp is for travelling without paths but what are boats for??

On the world map you can travel on water.

Mostly it's just for looks. You could travel across water areas on the map without the boat. With the boat, your graphic will change to a boat as you cross water.

Basically when you give the party a boat you can flip a flag to unlock all the paths on the map that cross water.
