Gotta love CNN:
TERROR HITS LONDON

"U.S. sources say at least 40 dead"
This will be one of thousands for many centuries to come...

Re: London go boom
All the radio stations were reporting on this, but none of the DJs really cared.
Oh, terrorists quite possibly bombed London? Where is London? What? It's not a city in the United States? What do we care? We're Americans."Mindless killing doesn't do a lot for me anymore." - Sampson

I think if the French have taught us anything it's that they would much rather sit and say rude things about your mother than actually do anything.Originally posted by tjoris9Well, they did just lose the bid to the Olympics. The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. Re: London go boom
I'd wager that the English government will use it as an excuse to strip Brits of their civil liberties and consolidate even more control over their personal lives, and this government in America is probably already looking for an excuse to do the same.
A shame these attacks ended up being directed at killing innocent people, and not the actual leaders of the G8 summit that they should have been directed to. It would have been best had these bombing attacks not even been committed at all given that these assholes like to stay in close proximity to innocent people for this reason. The unnecessary felling of a tree, perhaps the growth of centuries, seems to me a crime little short of murder." ~ Thomas Jefferson
