Re: Arcade Aid Challenge
That was pretty cool! I got 40 of them right, though a few were games I'd never heard of.
If anyone could tell me what the following are via PM, I'd appreciate it!
* The big fanged creature on the building's TV screen, which I thought was Wolfenstein 3D
* The weird dancing guy missing his eye near the stadium, which I thought was Dance Dance Revolution
* The skateboarder getting air off of a ramp, which I thought was Rampart or Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
* The guy on the bull's eye on the cylindrical building near the bottom, which I thought was Missile Command or Bionic Commando
* The tiger-with-propellors contraption. WTF was that?
* The Cobra in a bowl of soup. I took a long shot with "Primordial Soup", one of the levels in Ape Escape. No dice.

Re: Arcade Aid Challenge
I agree with the Snake Eater thing, and thought that the guy on the circles was Tron (since that is what its from) but I guess they wanted the specific one because they took Tron for the Light Cycles.
Oh, I got to 27. Some of them you just have to intuit from the image. I had never heard of some of the answers I put in.Last edited by Stormy; 03-14-2010, 07:23 PM.stodi no na ka cenba

Re: Arcade Aid Challenge
I have to think that's a reference to the Flying Tigers, a mercenary group that helped defend China from Japan in the early years of WWII, made up mostly (completely?) of Americans.Originally posted by Wavelength View Post* The tiger-with-propellors contraption. WTF was that?
There's probably an arcade game of the same name a la 1942/1943.So you're a fish out of water...
Keep swimming.
What else can you do?

Re: Arcade Aid Challenge
I got 22 then gave up.
The cobra is Super Cobra. I don't really get that one.
I thought the Silent Hill one was clever.Last edited by American Hero; 03-15-2010, 04:37 PM.________________
