    RPGM 1 Article in old EGM mag

    Hi old friends! it has been too long since ive posted.

    I ran across this old article that I remember some of us were talking about long ago... (perhaps someone already found it long ago...)

    When Electronic Gaming Monthly had an RPGM contest. Ive been half-ass looking for it for years, and it was at the bottom of an old stack of EGMs.

    This brings back the memories...

    makes me want to finish Esper Quest...

          We have that one, if that's what you're asking.

          So is this the largest scan you could get? *copy/pastes into MS Paint and enlarges*

          Man, those were the days (that I wasn't around for until later). It'd be awesome if we could get a contest like that going, again.

          Incidentally, I still have the EGM that has the RPG Maker review. Not sure if I have any issues where the contest was mentioned, but I might.

            I still have my issue too.

            We had a big time RPGmaker 1 contest, in which you won 3rd place I believe.

              I stand corrected. I don't have it, or any of the issues that mention the contest. Wonder what happened to them.

              And yeah, I remember the contest. Midway through the glory days of RPGM1. You know, I'm surprised RMXP didn't give the community a huge revival, what with how often we ranted how much we wished we could have the PC RPGMs.

                so i re scanned the page at 600 dpi (instead of 200) for a higher res pic, but i think photo bucket resizes them...

                If anyone wants a larger res of this page, could you please suggest another method of posting it?

                could it be an attachment like a game?

                sorry, havent messed with putting photos online much...

                  No wonder I couldn't find it here or the Mag. It doesn't sound too bad, and it looks like the only serious game of the lot. The others are here, apparently (I've only played Remote Control).

                      Do you still have it? I'd love to be able to put it up on the site for others to play.

                      even if you don't have a dex drive, there's several other ways to share the file. the PS3, using a memory card adapter, can turn it into a virtual memory card that can be shared. if you don't have a PS3, I could upload the game myself if you would let me borrow your memory card(s).

                        Unfortunately I do not, I sold the memory cads on EBay in 04. I still kick myself as I put 180 hours into it. It was very story driven and the cutscenes we elaborate but alas all I have is the USPS EGM used to send the cards back with Crispin Boyer's name on it.
