It's the new GI's cover story. It's a 40s noir detective thing made by Rockstar, and apparently mixes pulp investigative detective stuff with GTA-esque open world exploration. The focus, though, from the article, seems to NOT be on running around GTA-style and killing people.
Main reason I made this thread, though, is to say that the in-game character models put Heavy Rain to shame. Apparently, there were over 300 characters, and each was modeled using 35 (I think) individual cameras to track facial movements/expressions, and was synced with the dialogue. What this means is, because real people were modeled speaking their dialogue in real time, there are not going to be any weird lipsync issues. Granted, they've only shown still shots, but these look as close to real people as I think is possible right now.
Maybe I'll find a link or something to post here in a bit.
EDIT: Link to 1up.com, with embedded trailer.
