That sure is a lot o snow at one time! Now, a lot of morons think this is proof against Al Gore's "Global Warming" stuff. However, truth of the matter is, this supports Global Warming. How, you may ask? Well, think for a moment....

As the Earth gets warmer, the polar Ice caps melt. The water from the Ice caps ends up in the atmosphere, where it travels towards the Equator, and subsequently falling back to the earth in the form of Rain and/or Snow.

Of course, the alternative would be parts of the world flooding, but you get the idea.

It actually snowed here last night. In coastal South Carolina! The last time we had a significant snowfall was about 20 years ago after Hurricane Hugo. In 99 (I think) there was a hurrican that came close and we had a small snow that winter. But no storm scares this year and bam snow. The ground was still covered well into the afternoon but it's almost all melted away now.

Most people on both sides of the whole climate debate have such a simplified view and understanding of how climate works that they all end up being full of it. Throw in the political crap, and data tampering of both sides, and it becomes impossible for any reasonable person to know who can be trusted.

Its funny because up here in BC, lol where the winter olympics are, we are having one of the warmest winters ever. It was like 15°C degrees out today. Back in January it was still like 10, and it only snow once where we are all winter, and it melted the next day.

Its so warm they are cancelling some events and wasting millions of tax dollars to ship snow up there. Boooooo olypmics. You can suck it.

Yeah, the weather's been stupid here. We were supposed to get two snowpocalypses in the past week here in Boston, and we got exactly none.

All the east coast was like OH GOD GET READY IT'S COMINGGG and we were like WUT, and by the time the storm reached New England is was just a few clouds sputtering to a halt.

Detroit largely keeps getting dodged. This week we got like 10 inches, and there was like one other decent snow in January. That's about it.
