Snowed in

We got a pretty big snow storm between yesterday and the day before. 19 inches is what our local news station said, and that we haven't gotten this bad of a snow fall since 1994. Our driveway looks like a trench going down the entire length from shoveling. It'd say it averages from 4 to 5 feet on each side. Our driveway is about 400 feet in length, so if you can imagine this...

Anyone else got hit by the big snow storm?

I really should call my folks who live in Virginia, DC area. They got 30 inches according to the news.

Yeah, I heard there were about 22 inches where my family lives. I always enjoy blizzards; I'm kind of sad I missed it!

Yup, I live in Northern Virginia and I'd say we got over two feet. It sucks, I've been stuck in all weekend and (since this was one of three bouts of snow this week) everything I'm involved in (except work) has been cancelled for the last week and a half.

At least I've got heat and power, unlike my aunt and uncle in MD...

P.S.--Interesting fact: DC has gotten more total snow than Buffalo so far this Winter...
