Favorite Godzilla Movie

Sure, they're made of ham and filled with cheese, they rape science in the most brutal way, and rarely make sense, but I love them. My favorite might have to be Godzilla vs. Biollante, or Godzilla Final War.

Sort of out of the blue, but I have watched a few recently and my fan-boyish giddyness for the King of Monsters has returned full force.

I thought Final War was going to be the most awesome godzilla movie ever made until I finally saw it, and found out it had way too much crappy CGI, human drama and bootleg matrix fights.

All the monster parts where pretty cool though, and the big finale fight with godzilla blasting that comet were pretty kickass.

Final War was awesome! The crazy "X-ian" (lazy writers much?) who starts the genocide is hilarious. I love it when Zilla gets his but kicked in a record breaking 17 seconds.

Godzilla never looked so cool as when he re-emerges from the ice and kicks Gigan's ass.

Honestly, all the godzilla movies are corney, but that's what makes them great. I love them all to death. My top is Vs. Destroyah, but Final Wars gets Honerable mention.

I mean, even without anything else. We get Godzilla versus Zilla.

And it's awsome.

Only thing I don't like about the Godzilla movies is how anal they are about copyright way more than what you usually get from other sources. Even when they own one of the most iconic giant monsters ever made they still have people patrolling youtube for godzilla clips jsut to make sure nobody gets a peek at the giant firebreathing creature of doom.

Mothra vs. Godzilla, easily. The original Gojira is a classic as well.

But Godzilla vs. Megalon is a another personal favorite for pure silliness.
