    Beloved Imports

My parents just got back from visiting my cousins in Canada, Wpg. MB. I have dual citizenship And they brought back some of my favorite canadian goodies.

    1) Smarties: No not the compact sugar thingies us americans get, but these..

They're in concept like M&M's but yet completely different. They chocalate is sooo supreme it's this rich creamy milky chocolate that nothing else compares to. And for those of u who know what I'm talking about, no I don't eat my red ones last

    2) Coffee Crisp: I don't drink coffee nor do I like coffee but my god these things are awesome! I don't know what kinda addictive drug they put in these, but if I had access to these on a daily basis I would go bankrupt.

    3) All Dressed Chips: I'm still not sure how many flavors there are but I can assure I tasted BBQ, Cheese, Salt, and quite a few others.

    4) Ketchup Chips: I have recently found that you can rarely find these in the US but I barely ever see them. I love em though ;-) I also love SLAT AND VINAGER cause the canadian style is 10x stronger and better. Yummy

There's more but I can't think of them wait oh yeah

    5) Fuzzy Peaches!!!!

Different smarties, no Coffee Crisps, no all dressed or ketchup chips, and no fuzzy peaches!!

What a horrible place to live.

I know your disapointment. Here's the smarties we get, they're actually ok but no-where close to Canadian Smarties.

Those are those crappy chalk candies everybody gives out at halloween.

              In Canada they're called "Rockets"

Our Smarties are the cheap candy you get because you can't afford the good candy.

Edit: This topic is blowing my mind! I always though Canada was pretty much the same as America, except with crappier TV.

I've eaten both kinds of Smarties, the European version I've been eating since I was a wee lad of a single-digit age.

                  Sucks to be you guys.

Yeah they're like rockets, but they're softer and seem to almost disolve in your mouth. Rockets are just harder.

I beleive its the other way around. For the most part everything on TV in the states is complete crap. Canada just has slightly less crap.

I've seen Canadian TV, it's crap. At least I can find one or two stations on American TV that I enjoy.

As a unbiased dual countryman I can honestly say that I like American TV better. Also Canadian TV gives me this Channel 4 news feel, meaning well my channel 4 news I get is seems like your watching old news and kinda has that hazzy feel to it. But we do get some of the same stations. And I stopped watching TV a long while ago, ALL TV is pretty much crap nowadays. Only once in a great South Park will I watch TV.

                            *rocks out*

But theres quiet a few canadian shows that I like to watch if I happen to catch them in time.

Most canadian cartoons are horrible. But one stands out above the rest. Yvon of the Yukon. Only a true candian can watch that show.
