Wow, what a wild ride! I'm very glad I bought this game. This is truely a classic! The settings, music, characters, and gameplay, everything is fantasic! Special prasie goes to the graphics; I have no idea how Capcom has achieved this level of visual quality on the Gamecube. It's simply amazing. Here I thought that Twilight Princess had the best visuals on the Gamecube, but this game might even surpass that title. Granted, each game had a differing visual style, so it might actually be unfair to compare the two.
Anyhow, what surprises me most about this game is just how much it has a next-gen feel to it. If this game was to be released on the Xbox 360 or PS3 with the visuals updated and have an actual pathway between areas without load times, I honestly don't think it'd feel dated. Seriously, RE4 was THAT ahead of its time. If anyone reading this owns a Wii (or to a lesser extent, PS2 or Gamecube) and has not played this game yet, I strongly recommed you do so. And for $20 brand new, how could you not want to own this classic? This game was definitely worth every penny I paid for it.
