The Android (Google) phone G1, and T-Mobile.

I'm happy with the phone, and more than happy with the customer service. The 3G COULD be a bit faster and a bit less sporadic at times, but for browsing the Pav on the bus and sending a fair amount of texts, it suits me just fine.

I love the phone and don't really have any problems with T-Mobil, but I'm kinda jealous of all the awesome apps the iPhone has. Thinking about picking up a Touch 'cause of it.

I've got an unlocked iPhone. Since I travel a lot, I just swap my SIM with a local pre-paid one when I go abroad.

I'm an even bigger cheapskate than you. I use Tracfone and since I barely use my phone I can get by on just the cheapest card so I only pay $20 every three months. Can't beat that. I'd love to have a fancy smartphone but just not worth the price for me.
