Capcom, Sega disown Wii for "hardcore" games

I can't disagree with them, but still, sad. I think the less than expected sales of Conduit were a really big blow that scared a lot of devs...

I have my fingers crossed that Fragile will do well because the Wii has so much potential that nobody cares about. Most of the Wii's non Nintendo exclusives don't even require motion controls and Suda at least caught on. MadWorld, Muramasa, A Boy and His Blob... all these games could be easily ported to the other systems.

I understand why they're leaving the Wii behind. If ****ing Carnival Games kicked my ass I'd ragequit the business too, but maybe railshooters and repetitive brawlers weren't the way to go on the Wii. Like, yeah, MadWorld, Muramasa, A Boy and His Blob and all these games CAN be easily ported to the other systems so what makes them so special? They're not exactly AAA stuff.

since when does capcom france speak for the parts of capcom that actually make things?

and I really have to blame them for their games not selling. as magus said, most werent special.

tatsunoko vs capcom should do great, though. I know lots of fighting game fans who bought the system just for it.

MadWorld was fun. But yeah, The Conduit was a misstep from day 1.

That game probably sold more units that The Conduit.

It was probably a lot better too.

I hate scouring eBay and watching people embelish Wii auctions.
