America is stereotyped for having terrible beer, as we all know. Yeah, the majority is pretty ****ty. But I've come across several "beers" that I fancy.
Most of Coor's stuff is trash, except for Killian's Irish Red Lager. Killian's is smooth, dark, and flavorful. It's expensive too though. Grocery Store's in Colorado sell Killian's, but the alcohol level is limited to 3.2% because it's being sold at a Grocery Store. Otherwise because of the Coor's brewery in Denver mostly every liquor store has Killian's also. Try it sometime, throw out the Budweiser and Miller.
Another lager I just RECENTLY came across is Leinenkugel's Original Lager. Leinenkugel's is brewed in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. It's decently priced also. I know the name is probably rather arbitrary, but if you ever see it, I'd suggest trying it, but not over Killian's.
My last suggestion isn't a beer or lager, but an ale. Guiness EXTRA stout is a 20 proof dark beer. Most people prefer using it for "hard" car bombs, but ALONE it's really good beer. Unlike Guiness Draught though, Guiness extra stout is carbonated.
