Hey guys, I need voice talent! I'm planning ahead for my comic's 100th page with a special flash cartoon extravaganza, but I need people to voice the characters from FFX!
If you want to take part, here's what you gotta do:
Pick up to 3 characters you think you could voice for me. Then send me an audio file (.wav, .mp3) of you reading the line in your best impersonation (and/or silliest). You can read the line multiple times in different ways if you like (ex: first normally, then your best attempt, then one off-the-wall). You can also be a character of the opposite sex if you want, if you voice it well enough. It only adds to the hilarity.
After I've selected the winners, I'll send each of you a script, and we'll go from there.
Keep in mind, this is a serious undertaking. Quitters need not apply. I need people who are willing and able to work with me to make this the silliest, dumbest FFX flash ever. If all else fails I WILL voice it all by myself, and we all know how that went.
So, the list:
1. Tidus (brash, moronic, crybaby)
"Alright! We saved Yuna from the Mecha-Men! Now I can play Blitzball! woooo"
2. Yuna (reserved, monotone, mousey)
"I put on a fake smile so nobody can see the immense pain I suffer as I carry the weight of the fate of Spira on my shoulders marching to my death.
Alternate:
"Are you okay? What do you want to do? Heh. Heh-heh. Heh."
3. Wakka (secretly racist, jamaican, jock)
"Don't dey know dat it goes against da teachings?"
4. Lulu (evil, emo, goth)
"People die, all the time. Spira is a never-ending cycle of death."
5. Auron (Solid Snake, only more badass, and an asshole)
"This is your story. Crybaby."
6. Seymour (Homoerotic, Crazy, Secretive, makes everyone uncomfortable to be around by voice alone)
"I'm way too sexy to be a bad guy <3"
7. Kimahri (He's a cat. That's it. A cute little blue cat. Think Pokemon, only... cat.)
*Surprised mew* *Sad mew* *Happy mew* *Angry mew* *Interested mew* *Supportive mew*
8. Anything else
If you read through the comic, pages 1-50, and see anything else you feel you would like to voice, feel free to send it in.
Send your try-outs to bpwrinn@gmail.com. Looking forward to submissions!
