Maybe you'll enjoy the American remake with Zac Efron and Michelle Trachtenberg.

Anyways, I'm guessing you didn't like the understated quality?

Were the subtitles fixed for the DVD/Bluray? I heard they were inferior to the theatrical release.

Loved this movie. It's about time you got around to seeing it, but too bad it bored you. Guess it needs to be filled with twenty-something shirtless hunks to be considered good.

I dunno, perhaps it's cuz i watched it on an excercise bike...not the best conditions to watch a slow movie...then again I watched Kurosawa's Seven Samurai in the same condition and loved it. Plus I didn't think it needed to be 2 hours.

Allegedly, yes. But I've never seen the supposedly corrected release in stores with "theatrical" subtitles listed. Netflix has the original subs on its Instant Watch copy, though. They have the original Grindhouse, too.
