Probably you should click on the "Remember Me" box when you log in. Otherwise, you might get timed out, it happpens occasionally on vBulletin boards. The checkbox keeps you from getting timed out unless you close the browser or something.

the pav has been acting up because there's been an unusual surge in traffic the last two weeks. which results in slowdown, and random people getting logged out. I've witnessed a few of the mass-logouts myself.
