    CERN's LHC finally does something.

Yep. It finally did yesterday what it was supposed to do over a year ago. While these preliminary collisions have been accomplished and outclassed elsewhere, it's just nice to see that after more than a year, the LHC is finally up and running. Soooooooon we'll see what kind of crazy **** they make happen when they start colliding protons together faster than they've ever been collided before!

I'm banking on a rip in the fabric of space and time, resulting in pocket dimensions. =D

And still no headcrabs or resonance cascade?

    How dissappointing.

    And I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't
So here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my road
And I'm ready to suffer and I'm ready to hope

I'm banking on somthing not all that exciting unless you're a scientist that gets his rocks off on particles.

It might rip open a portal leading to hell.

I was thinking about this earlier today, glad to see that it's finally going somewhere.

It's time I gather up a party of three people, and we go off to destroy this Hadron Collider to save the world.

Remember though, its sending energy waves back in time from the future to stop itself from activating and destroying the universe. We have nothing to worry about!

Nah, in the future, they determined how to make it work without destroying the universe and sent a scientist back secretly to fix it, so now they will be able to make their experiments do what they want them to do without causing untold catastrophe.
