Your favorite RPG Maker game(s) and why...

Pretty much what it says on the title. What are your favorites and why.

Tsebaoth - The Nurith War (RPGM1): It's pretty well balanced and had a fantastic story. I don't remember seeing a lot of custom stuff but I didn't care much. I was too deep into the story to even notice it had a unique title screen.

    Remote Control

I found it amusing, incorporating jokes about how television has dumb downed the once intelligent society of man. It is a story about two friends who learn about the evils of the flashing circus inside a box.

Remote Control, Eternal Retardia, Smitpok Yes 4, and my game.

All four are fun, hilarious, and interesting. Valk made his game on drugs, if I recall.

The Police State demo was also rather excellent in it's own right. Terr made it. Game rocks. Too bad it was never completed.

How'd I miss this topic? Thank goodness for community updates.

Anyway, my favorite RPGM game should be pretty obvious, if you've been paying attention.

        The Spiteful Dead, by Xisthruos.

This game was my favorite for a long time, and I only actually beat it just recently. Even having only made it halfway, before, I could tell the story was epic, especially with the being Xis (though I had no idea how epic his story would really be). There were also the mini-games, where you drive over zombies in a car and then later shoot them down in a freaking tank. But what I remembered most about the game was the library. That place is just awe-inspiring.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

The EGM winner, right? Been meaning to have a go at that one. I am looking through LaCroix's Dynasty Project series and trying to figure out which one I played and finished. But one of them was pretty high on my list too.

And Dray, I should look at the LPs, then.
