Re: Shocking Gameplay!
Voltage doesn't flow. Current does. Voltage is potential, the difference in charge between two points.
Ever shower during a thunderstorm, unaware that one was going on at the time? Or perhaps been tasered? Then you might have some modicum of sympathy for this kid.The unnecessary felling of a tree, perhaps the growth of centuries, seems to me a crime little short of murder." ~ Thomas Jefferson

Re: Shocking Gameplay!
I was shocked by an exposed part of my lightswitch when I was about 14. It's an incredibly horrible feeling. It felt like there were a million bees shooting up my arm and into the right side of my body, and the freakiest part about it was that I couldn't move to get away.
But there was no way I could've known it was going to happen. I don't feel sorry for this kid because he decided to keep playing games on his PS2 when he knew it was storming outside. I'm sure he's just some lazy kid that didn't want to quit playing for 20 minutes. I wish it had fried his PS2.Eat Smello.

Re: Shocking Gameplay!
That's your opinion. There is no doubt that the kid was dumb, yet at the same time, he was the last thing that should have been fried would the electrical system inside his house be in complete working order. There are lightening rods and fuse boxes for a reason, this being one of them...
The PS2 should have fried before he did. Given that he was worried about the PS2 more, there is no discounting just how dumb he is...The unnecessary felling of a tree, perhaps the growth of centuries, seems to me a crime little short of murder." ~ Thomas Jefferson
