    Magic Pengel

I picked this up at EB yesterday for $10, and I love it so far. I went searching for the archives which had all your guys' doodles, but I couldn't find it... Anyone still have their pictures? I didn't pay much attention the first time around, and I want to see what all is possible with this thing.

As for me, I just got head parts, which makes my doodles look a lot less like beans with arms and legs.

Hahahaha, I still have my doodles saved, I'll have to finally grab some pictures of them. I promised Valk I'd show him the Dave Carter doodle months ago.

I still love the game, despite the goofy fighting system.

It's awesome, and sadly one of the most underappreciated games in US gaming history. It didn't sell nearly as well as it deserved. Heck, sales were horrible for some inexplicable reason. Blasted Americans and their Halo!!!

Fortunately, though, the sequel's coming out soon. Since Agetec was hesitant, Hot-B picked it up to publish before they did. So, it can't be a part of the Magic Pengel series, in spite of the fact that it is so in Japan.

Anyway, enough negativity, I was able to find my copy of MP, so I can finally take shots of my doodles. Gotta love composite cables!

God I love that game. I have to go smack my friend to get my copy back sometime.

I adore this game. I made so many doodles that I love! <3

Amidamaru in spirit ball form, a flying llama, a weird blue dinosaur (named AAARGH!), a corpse in an animated chair, and the avatar from Ultima 8 with an evil child clinging to his leg.

I posted pics of em all at the old pav, I think.

Nix, I'd still LOVE to see yours.

I wish there had been a way to trade doodles, cause I suck at drawing, but some of you all are awesome.

I had only a few doodles...

A tree nymph with tons of cloaks(a pain in the ass to connect), a boxing sun complete with gloves and a superhero cape, and a french artist penguin on stilts with a beret.

                      I should pick this up...

I remember playing it once. I had so much fun, fighting things with my rusty spoon. Ah... so many more little doodles.

It does look quite intersting, though I have yet to pick it up myself.

From what I've seen, you use an editor and actually draw your own creature in the beginning. Then it 3D-itizes (yes, I just made up my own new word) the doodle and you battle stuff with it.

Although I'm sure somebody that actually owns it can describe it better... and not have to make up their own words >.>

It's a game in which you create 2D drawings to instantly generate 3D creatures known as "Doodles". These guys duke it out in arena battles. You can draw asolutely anything you want! Anything. You don't need to be skilled at drawing at all. It's all uber-simple. The world's your oyster.

Damn, that's probably the best new idea for a game that I've seen in a long time. Maybe I'll look into it when I get the money.
