    Shattered Horizon

This looks pretty freakin' awesome. I dont know how long it would keep me entertained but floating around in Zero-G is definitely a cool gimmick.

And it apparently just came out a few days ago! Why have I heard nothing about it?

The game looks fantastic but the PC exclusivity coupled with the high requirements (Vista or Windows 7 only, DX10 at least) alienate everyone.

Plus it's a pretty month. Dragon Age, Modern Warfare 2, and Assassin's Creed 2. October and November are pretty terrible months to release games unless you're a big publisher IMO. It's like trying to releasing an art house film in the summer months. You're prolly gonna fail.

As for the game itself I was getting huge Tribes vibes (TRIBES! IN! SPAAAAACE!). The game looks weird to play what with the lack of inertia in space meaning bullets travel in a straight line, simple explosions can rocket you backwards, and navigating the environment has got to be tough to get used to. I would have checked it out had the idiots released a demo (why aren't demos ****ing standard business practice anymore?). $20 isn't much of a gamble but I can still think of several dozen better things to do with it.

Played it last night, and the game is trippy! Movement is done pretty well, takes a little bit to get used to but it isn't that bad. Good buy for $20.
