    Teletoon Pilot Project

Teletoon is basically putting 10 pilot cartoon on their website over the next two months, adding a new pilot every week. People can vote on them, and the most popular ones will most likely get a contract deal to produce more episodes.

Since its for Teletoon Detour, its ment for an older audience, so they can get away with more "adult" content, like minor swearing, booze, guns, sex, etc. Also Americans watching these will be weirded out hearing characters mention canadian cities instead of american ones.

In the commercials on TV they all look like generic flash animation trash. The first pilot they put up, "Ninjamaica" was pretty boring to me. It was just so bland. Nothing jumped out at me making me want to see more.

The second one though. Damn. Angora Napkin. I could totally watch more of this. Its like some unholy cross between Flapjack and Scoopy Doo with a bunch of sexual innuedo. Its got zombies, songs, chinchillas, boobs, a dolphin boy with a pack of condoms and all kinds of other zany stuff. Its split into two "half-episodes", and the second half is definatley animated alot better than the first half. They must have worked out the kinks in how they did things.

The zombies going OH BABY when she flashes her boobs got me laughing pretty hard.

UUUUUGGGGHHHHHHH, OH BABY. OH BABY. UUURRRRGGHHHH.

That was pretty great. The end of the second episode especially. Also, what's an edmonton?

As much as I love Scoopy Doo, why should I care about a Canadian cartoon network?

Because if you're lucky some of our awesome cartoons might make their way into the states so you can have the privilege of enjoying them!

I think we've had enough scooby doo for the rest of eternity.

I think it's funny how Canada gets a gimpy version of America's channels.
                  ...and that's why.
