Nicole and I were recently philosophizing about how today's music is essentially mindless entertainment for the masses. Nicole argued that "artists" today are producing and distributing music solely to occupy the time of the proletariat. We would have continued discussing this further, but her older brother Byron took his pants off and crapped all over the kitchen floor, so we had to cut the conversation short.
My suggestion is that you remove the earbuds from your ears long enough to wake up to the world around you. If you refuse to do that, at least try a little Frédéric Chopin.
