I am unfortunately trapped in this kitchen cabinet, not with monsters, but with these asiago cheese bagels. She really just needs to eat me or throw me away already. I think she's purposely tormenting me by placing her current love affair next to me on the shelf in this cabinet. Every time the cabinet door opens, my hopes rise, only to be dashed into the depths of despair as she chooses these bagels instead. I know if she would give me another chance, I could satisfy her. But she does not seem to want to give me that chance. Instead, I dwell on all those things happening between them on the other side of this door.

With the plain bagels, she left the door open so I could see her dalliances, which was bad enough. But now she's leaving it closed, and I can only imagine the look on her face when I hear those soft moans and sighs of satisfaction soon after I hear those bagels pop out of the toaster. It's eating me up inside.


I wish she would eat up my insides instead.
