    Dinosaurs is back on TV!!



    Every night on a local station they have a retro thing they do where they put on a bunch of old shows. They added Dinosaurs the lineup!

    God I love it. Its like the simpsons, only alot more entertaining. They even look like simposns characters. Rebellious son with spiky hair, vegetarian daughter with starfish shaped head, big fat stupid dad, etc. Lots of subtle humor too.

    One thing I could never figure out though, was something with the baby. Did he always say "Knock the mama!" or "Not the mama!", when he hit Earl?

    I always figured it was "knock the mama", but it's probably "not the mama".

    That was a good show, though. I remember watching it every week when it was on TGIF. I only remember two episodes, though. One when the dad winds up switching places with a tree, and the other when the boy (er, teenager?) tries to prove the world is round. I remember the theme song, though. If it had lyrics, I'd share them.

      That's awesome! I wish we had that station.

      It's "Not-the-Mama!" Baby Sinclair is partial to his Mommy, so he likes to smack Earl on the head with a frying pan rather than accept him as "Daddy".

      Man, I'll never forget the episode where they took the kid to be named and the great sage died right in the middle. The baby ended up being named "Augh, Augh, I'm dying, you idiot!" The brother and sister had a really difficult time singing the name game song after that.

            Count me as one of the 'Dinosaurs' fans. I watched it religiously until it was pulled from syndication around here. Now I just have dino-withdrawal.

                    I loved that show. I've watched a large number of episodes in the past. Baby is dead l33t.

                    The opening theme did not have any lyrics. It was pretty catchy, though.

                    Who remembers the Captain Impressive?

                        God, that show was hilarious. I used to watch it on TGIF as well.

                        A few years ago I was at waiting at Wilford Hall's pediatric center for my younger brother and they had the entire vhs collection for viewing in the kids room.

                            I feel pretty sure the show had a couple season's worth of episodes. I can't remember specifics, but I know that Robbie was more like Bud Bundy than he was like Bart Simpson.

                              I still remember the intro. The father walking through the jungle with all that haze, fog, and mist.
