this topic is to list nicknames we've had through life and possibly their origin. Come on even the embarassing ones (like ones given by relatives)

Here's mine:

Roman Banshee~ Well I ate a huge plate of spaghetti in like 11.-something seconds, and I went roman banshee style--meaning I wore baggy pants and sandals under em lol.

Neonash~ self-assigned neo means new and is also a character in my epic story.

Broccoli~ my grandma, and god I hate this one.

My Mom calls me 'Hootie' because of 'Hootie and the Blowfish'. This confuses me, because I don't ever remember saying that I liked them.

nate dogg: take a wild guess....from the rapper/singer/w-e guy... I go under nate_dog or nate_dog7_7 on some of my accounts because of this.

doyle: Well, my brother got a nickname from a rather silly acting senior 2 years ago, and it was from the cartoon: bob the builder, so he had bob (everyone in my school, even teachers, call him bob now) so they felt I had to have a nick name as well, which was doyle, from billy madison, made by a silly acting kid in my grade. So on some of my accounts, I go by doyleman.

a hole: some people call me....oh, thats a bad word? oh, well, some people on the street call me bad words then, and thats where it came from.

nater bug: my dad calls me this, simply cuz I was a small fry, and constantly crawled under the rug in my baby years, or so they say, so from the rhyme: bug in a rug, they put bug after my name with a r. I hate this name though....

Cas or Caz - shortning of Caciss
Coonie - due to my previous obsession with raccoons, but it was mainly due to that fact I wanted an idenity here at the Pavilion.
King (Tonic) - I just like it.

All the ones with out history, are just shortenings or weird add-ons to my name, which happens to be Devin.

My gangsta name (as assigned by my friends and peers): A-bomb.

A play on my cartoonist nickname, which I won't share here.

My nickname throughout elementary school, middle school, high school and beyond: Laura.

This is due to the fact that I have an older sister that looks a hell of a lot like me, and she had a fair amount of my teachers first. They would periodically refer to me as "Laura" and I always just played along. My classmates would usually laugh and give it away...

They are both stupid nicknames. Huzzah!

Snarf- my gaming handle (based off of ability to do impressions of Snarf from the Thundercats)
Kirsie- mother's mother/family given nick (a play on my first name)
Swig/Big Swig- classmates and teachers (a play on my last name and mainly used because they couldn't pronounce my first name)
Special K- ghetto/ex boyfriend nick

Only nickname Ive ever had was "Bucky". My parents called me that when I was around 4 years old.

I have no idea where they got it from either. Its not even close to my real name in any way.
