The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day on Oct. 30

So I found out that the sequel to one of my three favorite movies of all time, that I've seen at least two dozen times, is coming out the day before Halloween.

But then I found out I am not within a fifteen mile radius of any theaters that are going to be playing it. Within the next two weeks.

    Here's the trailer.

What's the point of having an emergency response system if you can't provoke the wrath of God?

Didn't they make a movie about how the writer/director of the original was such a douchebag that he ran himself out of Hollywood?

How to post a YouTube video: "YOUTUBE"UjMBd9XSLgI"/YOUTUBE" (replace quotations with brackets of course) gets you

In other words, take out everything before and including the "=".

Now, for the movie, I'm cautiously optimistic, with a few reservations. I like the first one a lot(a little less now that every lame-o Hot Topic kid does too) but I thought Willem Dafoe as Agent Smecker made that movie, and now we have Rita from Dexter taking his place. No Rocco either except in flashbacks (read: fanservice).

Flanery is starting to look old, too. He's got puffy-face.

This movie looks like a piece of **** and shame on you. I would write down an essay on why I feel this way but it's late and I'm kinda tired. Nothing personal~

The first one I kinda enjoyed and felt like I should've liked it more, but I didn't enjoy it all that much...part of the reason I liked it was Defoe's crazy ass. This looks like more Catholic death porn.

I never heard of the original until I got Facebook and every film student in the northeast listed it as their favorite movie of all time.

So far the only thing I can assume from the trailer is that it's gonna be just like the first one, only without Willem Dafoe.

The first one was such an accidental epic with critically overblown action sequences and often madcap humor. It was just as aware of itself as it wasn't aware of what it would become and how its presence would affect everything, and that's part of why Boondock Saints is awesome to me. Making a sequel 10 years down the line is just a big cashin on an unexpected cult hit, and its only saving grace will be if it doesn't try to be like the first, but excels in new and interesting ways just like the first one did.

So yeah, I'm gonna watch it.

Yes, Overnight is about Troy Duffy.

But he didn't run himself out of Hollywood, as he did this sequel as well.

I did not care for the original, so I could care less for a sequel.

What? I'm aware of that even though the first movie was great the sequel could be a piece of **** (e.g. AVP-R). But I mean look at it. It looks fantastic. Explosions, jumping out of skyscrapers, the ridiculosity of the action scenes alone should attract your attention.

The first Aliens vs Predator? ****. The second? ****, but entertaining as hell.
