    Saturday Night Live season premiere

With nothing better to do, I tuned in and watched Megan Fox be mediocre and U2 force me to locate the mute button.

One thing that cuaght my attention- one of the new cast members dropped the F bomb and I was lucky enough to actually be watching when she said it- the look on her face was priceless. Better than that "Keep 'plucking' that chicken" video. I pity the west coast who will miss that.

And yes Valk, they JUST did a Transformers spoof.

Lol, I heard her say **** too! It was pretty funny, but if I had to say freakin' after every word I might mess up too.

But that's what she does for a living, right?

SNL has finally lost its luster. Every time I watch it now I laugh as much as the audiences seem to now. It's become really ineffective sketch comedy. I know Lorne Michaels has a tendency to shake up the entire cast every few years or so, but this latest crop doesn't really have anything going for them, at least in my eyes. Oh well.

SNL has been terrible since Will Farrel left.

I haven't really liked SNL since the mid-90s when Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, David Spade, Will Ferrell, Norm McDonald, Chris Rock, Kevin Nealon, Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, and Phil Hartman were all leaving or gone. Tina Fey was the last vestige of their '90s glory days when the show was good, and she was a late '90s recruit at that. Maybe next decade it'll be good again, because Samberg sure ain't cutting it.

Exactly. As soon as all of the good comedians left and they got new writers, SNL has been nothing but an enormous, steaming turd.

I miss will and tina. I do like andy samberg (sp?) and kell mitchel (sp?). Maybe I just have fond memories of kell on all that as a youngin. That show was pretty funny at the time.

Didn't an old SNL cast member in the 80's get fired for saying the f-word? I guess they are really reaching for any kind of attention at this point, since the show itself is pretty awful.

Yeah, that was Charles Rocket. Everyone was fired when that happened except Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo
