    MGS Peace Walker

I didn't see a thread for this game.

The important thing is IGN has put the TGS demo up for download. Try it now!

      *downloads*

*edit* At first I thought the cutscenes would be all real time (or maybe just FMV of in-game graphics), but then it switches to a comic book style like the previous PSP Metal Gear games. =\

          demo is fairly short, gameplay-wise.

it controls really well. face buttons are used like a second analog stick for camera movement. d-pad left brings up item menu, right is weapon menu, down is crouching, and up is a context sensitive thing, cling to walls, search soldiers for items, stuff like that. L is bring up weapon, R fires. R without L does CQC.

Yeah, the two Snakes hiding under the box, one almost sitting on the other one's lap, more or less, thing was in the trailer at Sony's E3 presentation. First thing I thought when I saw it was, "How can fans of the series possibly defend that the series does not have homoerotic overtones?"

I couldn't get through Portable Ops from boredom, all the kidnapping and similar levels and whatnot. I will give this a look though.

Just saw the trailer. That was pretty freakin awesome.

There's a character called Strangelove. Oh, Hideo Kojima. What popular European or Western show will you parody next?

No, actually, it's the only way to go about a 3D game on the PSP.

Syphon Filter and Resistance used similar control schemes, and they didn't require crab hands to play (Monster Hunter, MGS: Portable Ops).

Who's saying it doesn't have them? It's always had homoerotic overtones, and that's why we love it so~
