Just kidding. What this topic really is about-
Recently, I made a big life decision. It's something I've been thinking about for a long time now, but never told anyone. I'm enlisting in the US Airforce. I plan on joining at the end of October. I just looked at my life and where I am right now. I could be flipping burgers, struggling to get by, or I could be in one of the most important military forces, traveling the world, making good money, protecting lives, and serving my country. Not to berate people
who work in fast food joints, I'm just talking about myself and my own potential.
I just want to do something important; something others will remember me by. I want to do something to make myself proud, and others too. It will give me the confidence I've always wanted in life. Everyone I ever read about who went into the Airforce said it was the best decision they ever made. Nobody in my family or extended family ever went into the military, and only a few of them ever even went to college, so I'm gonna be a first.
I always originally planned on doing something in art as a career, but right now, I cannot do that. I'm too inexperienced, and don't have enough talent yet to get a real job doing art. Maybe when I get out of the USAF I can pick back up my art, but for now, it's just a hobby.
I really don't know what profession I want to be when I go into the Airforce. Maybe something with computers? I also would maybe want to be the person who is in charge of arranging the cargo in planes, or people in charge of having the airplane runway cleared. I'm still looking into a lot of information, so only time will tell.
Wish me luck on this endeavor friends. I'm more excited than I am nervous. I just need a month or so to get into healthy shape and study for the ASVAB
