    (The) War of the Worlds

Good reviews so far. I've read a third of the H.G. Wells novel. I don't like it as much as 'The Time Machine' so far, but it's still pretty good. I'm looking forward to seeing it tomorrow.

I'll only see it cause Tim Robbins is in it.

Tim Robbins & Tom Cruise battle the corperations being all corperation-y, and psychiatry?

I think you should all read The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Vol. 2.

I never liked The Time Machine much, The Invisible Man and War of The Worlds were always my favorites.
"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

Whaaa?! What's wrong with The Time Machine? It's haunting and weird.

Ray Bradbury's good too. Yet the only thing we got close to a Bradbury adaptation recently is................EQUILIBRIUM!!! YES!!!!

I kind WANTED to see it.

But after all this Tom Cruise RETARD publicity tour 2005.

Him and his new movie can BLOW me.

They were supposed to be releasing the Sound of Thunder, based on a ray bradbury short story.

what the hell happend with that?

                        it wrapped and everything.

Oh right! I remember seeing that trailer when I saw Collateral last summer.

I think it's not coming out because it looks like ass. Not like Ray Bradbury cares.

Now if only more crappy-looking flicks would follow suit.

The movie probably won't follow the book much at all. They never make movies for the people who have time for books.

What about Chris Columbus and his no-word-left-behind version of Harry Potter?
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.
