Rumor says that Atlus and Ignition are in a war over who localizes this. I seriously hope it's the former because Atlus not only does a better job but they're one of the rare companies that actually cares about packaging and fluff material without charging an extra $20 and calling it "special edition."

Okay I seriously want a PS3 now. That game looks magnificent and messy. I love how the epilogue starts off: "Far a long time ago..."

I can't see this game selling well in the US.

I can't see the game selling well in Japan. From Software is a pretty popular dev in the glorious Nippon but this is a pretty big departure from their flight combat games, giant robots, and dark brooding dungeon crawlers.

I don't care, i just saw this posted on the IGN boards as well and it immediately turned into a must have game, and i was hoping that this was a game with a built in maker...

Having seen the US sales of Demon's Souls, a game they funded and published in Japan, they're not passing up the opportunity at another surprise hit.

edit: Especially when said hit is basically a parody of retro everything.
