I have been flirting with this idea for a very long time, and have finally decided to go for it. I will be trying to get a perfect file on my favorite game in the whole world, Final Fantasy 12. Why spend so much time on a game, you ask? Well, there's a lot of reasons. I'm a perfectionist and a tad bit OCD, I like doing things really nobody else has done, I like repetition in all it's forms, I love collecting things, as well as other reasons.
I do not play FF XII constantly every day, just a few hours a day. I am not some addicted, obese gamer who sits on his bum and does nothing. I have college classes and friends, and have other hobbies as well, like art, piano, and lifting weights. This is not the thread to discuss why this idea is stupid and why I am a loser who is wasting his time, as these kinds of posts will be ignored!
Now, with that said, let me tell you what I'm aiming for to get a 'perfect' file:
-99 of every item (or as high as possible) This is weapons, armor, accessories, ammunition, usable items, and loot. I'm not including key items, because some you have to give away/trade/etc for the storyline or quests.
-Max time. This means your game clock is 999:99:99 hours. Not that hard to do if you leave your PS2 on without playing a lot like me.
-Max gil. This is 99,999,999 gil. It is one goal that can be reached while working on other 'perfect file' requirements.
-Max Liscense Points. Having 99,999 LP for each character
-Max steps. 9,999,999. Again not hard to do, rubber band+controller+mobless area. It's not hard, but takes a while.
-Max Clan Rank. This is 99,999,999 points and Order of Ambrosia (meaning sky pirate's den complete, all hunts complete, etc.) This might be the hardest goal out of them all.
-Max EXP. Of course this means everyone is level 99 with 99,999,999 exp. This is pretty reasonable, considering my normal playthrough I had about 13 million exp without grinding a whole lot.
The only thing I will not try to get perfect is everyone's HP/MP. There's just not enough techniques known yet how to manipulate the HP/MP level up bonuses effectively.
Well, that's about it. I hope at least one person here will be following this project of mine.
