Looks worth a watch. I just hope they do a good job marrying the premise and the action instead of being either-or like most movies. The trailer makes it look like they know what they're doing but nearly all trailers do that.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!Comment

This does indeed look good, but then I thought the same thing about Gamer and it was crap. It's been a horrible movie season apart from District 9. To the point that I don't even want to see Nine today.The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

The entire premise for this movie is confounding to me. If you live your life through a surrogate, then why would you even continue to need a body? Couldn't you just be a brain in a jar? How would sex work? If you could still feel the same sensations you could with your flesh, would it still be as enjoyable knowing that you are having sex with just another surrogate?
The thing about Blade Runner that makes it cool, is that you can imagine it could happen in the future or in an alternate universe. The Surrogates though, seems utterly preposterous to me, like it would never happen ever...Comment

No matter how hard the trailers try I just can't get excited for Nine.

Though I agree with Jeff, at least Ghost in the Shell and Blade Runner seem somewhat possible or grounded in reality.Comment
